The processes above are those usually required to successfully complete the preoperative assessment for most patients. However, each surgical weight loss candidate is unique. Your safety is of utmost importance. Based on your own personal medical history or current medical condition, the physicans and surgeons conducting your preoperative assessement may require additional screenings or testing processes or procedures. Even though your health insurance may exclude bariatric procedures, these additional screenings or testing procedures are typically covered by your insurance.
