TLCEdge patients are provided world-class aftercare following their LAP-BAND®, REALIZE™ Gastric Band or Gastric Sleeve procedure. Our program is designed to help you achieve your weight loss goals and then be successful at maintaining a healthy weight.

Through personalized care, we support your individual healthcare plan and help you stay on track. TLCEdge helps you achieve your personal weight loss goals. If you are experiencing any problems following surgery or if you simply have a question for one of our friendly staff members, we are here to provide you support.

Adjustable Gastric Band Adjustments (Fills)

Gastric Band Surgery With TLCEdge

TLCEdge welcomes your appointment at any of our convenient locations across the Metroplex.

Of course if you are a TLCEdge cash or self pay patient your first adjustment (fill) is included in the price of your original program. Thereafter, TLCEdge provides fills for a very competitive cash fee – currently $100.

If your Gastric Band surgery at TLCEdge was covered by your insurance, your fills may be paid by your insurance provider as well and you may be responsible for only your normal insurance co-pay.

Gastric Band Surgery With Another Provider

Effective October 1, 2009 we will be accepting appointments for those of you who wish to join the world-class TLCEdge Surgical Weight Loss Aftercare Program - even if you have had LAP-BAND® or REALIZE™ Gastric Band surgery with another provider.

You may have relocated and be new to the area, had surgery in a foreign country, lost track of your original provider or would simply like to join a program where you can enjoy significant one-on-one interaction with trained bariatric professionals.

We will ask that you provide us with a detailed medical and surgical history, undergo a physical examination with one of our experienced bariatric providers and allow us to establish a baseline “barium swallow” – to make certain that your band is properly placed and that we will be able to access your port.

Your insurance may cover the cost of the services required to become part of the TLCEdge Aftercare Program. Please contact a TLCEdge Care Coordinator with your insurance information.

For those of you who are cash or self pay patients, under most circumstances the cost of these services will be only $395.

Once the history, physical examination and “barium swallow” are successfully completed and you may be accepted into the TLCEdge Aftercare program, then the cost of your fills will be the same as for those who had their Gastric Band procedure with TLCEdge. Currently that amount is only $100 for a cash or self pay patient or the appropriate co-payment amount for those of you who have insurance that covers gastric band adjustments.
